Company Description: In late 1996, while consuming homebrew, two enthusiastic fire-fighters began conjuring grandiose images of a home brewing system on a grander scale. After a few more beers the course was set and a new and exciting brewing venture was on its way, Sierra Madre Brewing Company.
The Sierra Madre Brewing Company is located in the pleasant foothills situated at the base of Mount Wilson in the San Gabriel Valley. Housed in the 100 Year old ice house in this charming foothill village, the brewing company came into existence in late 1997.
The name Sierra Madre (Mother Mountain) conjures up images from the past, images of treasure hunters and prospectors. Sierra Madre Brewing Company holds treasures of a liquid gold for those in search of semi-precious treasures.
