Company Description: Labatt London Brewery is a member of Labatt Breweries of Canada (LBOC). LBOC is a division of the international beverage conglomerate Interbrew. With two high speed bottling lines, and one high speed can line, the London brewhouse brews 2.0 million hectolitres, the equivalent of nearly 586 million bottles of beer, each year: brands such as Labatt Blue, Blue Light, Budweiser and new beer products such as Labatt Genuine Draft and Ice Beer. All this beer requires its own fleet for distribution. The drivers provide service between the Toronto and London breweries and the 438 Brewers Retail outlets across Ontario. The London Brewery occupies 33 acres of land and includes the brewery, national offices, the garage, Labatt Beer Store and an experimental brewery for research and development purposes. Altogether there are 377 hourly employees, members of two bargaining units which are the Brewery General and Professional Workers Union Local #1.
