At the New Zealand Brewersfest '97, Emerson's won three gold medals, a silver, and Michael Jackson (international beer expert) then named Emerson's Weissbier the Supreme Beer. In the Australian International Beer Awards 1998, Emerson's won two gold medals and in 1997, Emerson's was Specialty Section Champion.
